Allow me to introduce myself...
Hi! My name is Kristin Bongiovanni, what brings you here today? If you’re wondering if I’m related to Bon Jovi, I recommend you check out his Wikipedia page.
I’ll assume you want to know a little more about me: I’m a User Experience (UX) Researcher currently based in Los Angeles with over 8 years of experience. I love talking and connecting with users because every time I do, I learn something new from them. My mission as a UX Researcher carries over into my everyday life: to provide people with a safe space to share their thoughts and feelings then ensure that their voices are heard by building compassion for them with my product teams.
I discovered my true passion in UX, specifically research, while earning my Masters of Information Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. While working on a website prototype project, I quickly learned the importance of conducting user feedback early and often. I specialized in digital media and research analysis while exploring ways of presenting information and visualizing data. See more in my portfolio!
Connecting with others and leading with compassion carries over into my life outside of my career as well. I recently earned my 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher credentials and enjoy teaching yoga (both online and in person) in my spare time. Teaching has helped me become a better listener both as a human and as a researcher and taps into my desire to always keep learning.
